Joana Vila Plandiura was born in Barcelona. And even though she comes from a big city, she has always felt more comfortable when she’s surrounded by nature, which made her decide to pursue studies in Biology. In 2025, she joined the SPBT project as a volunteer to keep learning about management and research related to natural protected areas while being part of an international program that allows her to get to know another culture.
