Laia Esteve was born in Sant Pere de Riudebitlles, Barcelona (Spain). She studied Biology (Universitat de Barcelona), with a master's in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). In 2024, she joined the SPBT project as a volunteer. She is particularly interested in the conservation of birds of prey and the mitigation of human-wildlife conflicts.
